Greetings to all. I’m here now to give a lecture about APJ Abdul Kalam. Avul Pakir Zainuldeben Abdul Kalam was Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s full name, although relatively few people are familiar with him by that name because he was frequently referred to as the “Missile Man of India” and the “People’s President.” On October 15, 1931, he was born in Rameswaram into a very underprivileged household.
He was accepted into St. Joseph’s College in Tiruchirapalli, where he later earned a degree in physics. He then attended the Madras Institute of Technology, where he eventually earned a degree in aeronautical engineering in 1955. Dr. Abdul Alam had an ambition of becoming a pilot since he was a little child, but he was unable to realise it. He made amends for his errors and lived a life filled with many successes. Abdul Kalam joined the Indian Military Department after earning his degree. He was a crucial player in India’s development of its nuclear arsenal.
APJ Abdul Kalam served with DRDO and ISRO, the largest agency in the nation, before being appointed as a Technical Advisor to the Indian Minister of Defense in 1992. A second successful nuclear test was carried out in Pokhran that same year under his supervision, which led to India being added to the list of countries with nuclear weapons.
Kalam earned the nickname “Missile Man” for creating the Agni missile for India. Abdul Kalam made a unique technological and scientific contribution for which he was recognised with the Padma Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan, and other honours in addition to being given the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest honour.
