It is said that the youngest of children are the brightest in learning languages and that young children can master multiple languages by a certain age. Considering that English is a globally recognised, used, and accepted medium of communication, it is wise to use the young age of children to teach them as many sentences and phrases in English as possible.

Basic Sentences for Kids

A sentence is a group of words with a subject and a verb that can be used to make a statement, ask a question, or say something else. When you write a sentence, you start with a capital letter and end with a full stop.

Common Phrases for Kids

A combination of words that are used in conjunction with one another is referred to as a phrase. A complete verb cannot be found within a phrase. It is not a whole sentence on its own, but it is used to express something in a certain way, and it does so while expressing that something.

Within the context of a sentence or clause, a group of two or more words that functions as a meaningful unit is referred to as a phrase. The most popular definition of a phrase is that it is a grammatical unit that exists on a level between a word and a clause.

A phrase is composed of a head (also known as a headword), which establishes the grammatical nature of the unit, and one or more modifiers, which are not required but can be included. It’s possible for phrases to contain other phrases within them.
